    • I can’t recall but I think it as at least a few weeks from submitting via their website form. I’d like to be able to tell you what the norm is from that point onward, but my initial response to an email from1 of their reps got looked over for months and then from there I got a response saying they were sorry they didn’t get back to me from my original outreach. Even though the conversation picked up from there, I don’t remember if I didn’t hear back after additional submitting or it just didn’t work out between us – or, more likely, both.

      • Hi Andrew,

Thanks so much for your detailed response. I’m sorry things didn’t work out with you and them. I submitted music about a couple weeks ago. I know sometimes reviews take months. I’m also not sure if I should start submitting elsewhere by now but I know here’s not the place to have that conversation.

        • You’re welcome, Alexis. Oh, no worries – that’s this industry’s nature, after all. Ok. It’s good to know that. Right, I understand. I’d be glad to further discuss about all this. Feel free to contact me (Ethereal Life Records) via YouTube, Bandcamp, or Rumble – and exchange emails from there.

          • Thanks again, Andrew!

I really appreciate your extended offer to help! I’ll be sure to reach out to you. And please don’t worry about responding right away. Your willingness to take the time to help is enough.

    • Hi Beatslinger. This library is interested in signing me a song exclusively and for life. I think it’s a good song, but I don’t like that they require it exclusive and for life. Do you recommend me to sign in these conditions with them?
      Thanks for your advice.

  1. I only have 2 tracks with them, but they’ve both been placed including a recent placement on the NBC show Abby’s in 3 episodes with a nice upfront fee. I’m expecting a large backend as well as this was network prime time and each usage was over 1 minute.

  2. Just spoke with them. They have two exclusive options.
    1) No upfront fee. Split sync fee 50/50 you keep writer they keep publishing
    2) $100 per track up front they keep all publishing and sync fee’s you get writers.
I’m personally not interested in that kind of a deal but they are very professional and seem cool enough.
