Even though I have just a bit more then a passing interest in dance music, I am really enjoying this website – and the book – just as a reply good resource, on things topics synthesis , drum programming (electronic), and electronic music composition, even getting me interested in Logic’s Ultrabeat. Probably one of the best reads/ tutorials on electronic ,music production with a large focus on, obviously, dance music production. Start with the Dance Music Manual , which is to dance music production what Mike Senior and Bobby Owsinski are to mixing, and look towards one of their other excellent tutorials. If anyone else can recommend tutorials on things like sound design, drum programming, electronic music, and film music composition, recommend away.
