Crowdfunding for Musicians

I’ve been doing some research into crowdfunding to help press my album so I can sell physical cd’s along with digital downloads. There is some cost to that and I know a lot of the musicians here not only make commercial music but also have albums up too. I was curious if anyone here has had some success with crowdfunding and would be kind enough to share their experience.
