Name spelt wrong on cue sheet

Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question. A publisher has sent me the cue sheet for an upcoming show and I’ve noticed that my sir name has been spelled incorrectly but only by one letter, does this matter or does the the CAE number see to it that the royalties get to me?

Not a stupid question at all – I would definitely get in touch with someone at your PRO. Someone else with the same name as me (different middle name) sometimes gets a few dollars off of my royalties at ASCAP, so I imagine the CAE doesn’t cover everything.
