Pretty interesting news as the music business is morphing into who knows what driven by technology and the Internet. BMI bid on it but ASCAP did not, probably because of their consent decrees. Last year all three of the PRO CEOs agreed that the future is for PROs to offer one-stop licensing for music users who often require several music rights. Is there hope there? Thoughts?
