    Does ASCAP issue 1099’s?

    They are required by law to do so for U.S. citizens.

    I believe they are only required by law to issue a 1099 if the income was $600 or more. So if you earned less than $600, you may not get one.

    Yes they do issue them. It is $500 or more earned that you have to report. I got mine last week from them.

    They’ll also send a statement of foreign taxes withheld in US dollars, which you may need.
