Dean,

Looks much better! The site loaded very quickly for me. Everything's right there on the main page to get to quickly. Don't stop trying to think up and implement things for the website that will benefit your clients.

Dean
A suggestion... Check out hostbaby - www.hostbaby.com. They offer very affordable websites for the music industry- lots of templates to choose from, all types of music players with various options (download, not download, flash, etc.)

You could probably re-do your whole website with hostbaby in a day and wouldn't have to pay a fortune for web design.

Best of luck!

PS I do NOT work for hostbaby!!

You have two choices when listening to the songs.

1. If you right click on the icon below the song title, you can open target: to listen to the song. If you open the target you will not have to download it. It will start playing automatically.
2. If you right click the icon you can save target as, and that will download to your computer. So you can stream or download.

As far as the music goes we have orchestration for motion picture, television and commercials. If you click on the Mood Music buttons that will take you to that type of music.

It is obvious the person who posted that comment did not take the time to check out the site. There is a lot of material available.

The Publishing Agreement that we sign are non exclusive. The licensing fees are split 50/50. The Writer receives 100% of the Writer's share. The Publisher's share is negotiable.

I hope this clears things up. I appreciate the suggestions that were make about the website. Any questions feel free to contact us.

Thanks for stopping in Dean. I would have to say that there is a lot of work that would need to be done on your site. It's pretty "clunky". First thing I would do is not auto play music on the site. That is a annoyance to many people when connecting to the site. When people go to look at your catalog of songs you have to download them. Why not a player of some sort? Music Supervisors are not going to take the time to download and listen to music and it makes it more difficult for anyone looking for music. I could go on and on. Your best bet would be to hire someone to do a professional looking site for your company. It's your company's first impression on everyone.

I'm sure that your site is not indicative of what is contained in the library or yourself. Something else that people here are interested in is the information that is contained above about your company. You might want to shoot Art a email here and fill him in on the details of your contract for artists.

What artist's are you targeting? I saw only Rock, Pop, Electronic, ect. but I didn't notice anthing related to orchestration (Motion Picture, Television or Commercial).

This is Dean from Lights Cameras Music Publishing. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the company. Maybe you can give us some suggestions about the website. I really don't want you to think of us as amateurs. We are not a huge publishing company but we have had placements in projects that do pay well.

Ya I saw that one on the FMN, I checked out the company first and decided not to even submit. They just seemed so amateurish, basing that on the website alone. Just didn't have good vibes about it. Good luck though.
