  1. They also contractually reserve the right to re-copyright your music, so if a composer doesn’t like that the library can re-copyright (and re-title) your music………………………….

  2. I was contacted by Afire Music to submit tracks. The contract is OK (they do allow re-titling). My issue is that I’ve not heard anything from them after submitting tracks last September. It seems Afire is associated with Matchless Music and I made inquiries to them as well. Is this a usual practice, meaning a library doesn’t reply to an inquiry? I don’t think so. So then what’s up w/my tracks? If they don’t reply how is one supposed to know if those tracks are accepted/represented by Afire? Anyone have any dealings w/Afire Music?

    • Hardly seems a great way to establish a good relationship with their writers.
That’s enough for me to stay away at least till I hear more on the positive side.
