I understand cues and writing them in parts… for example A-B-A-B-A in various lengths but when I see people mention edits of “15, 30 and 60 seconds”… do they mean selling essentially the same tune in different time increments separately or WITHIN a single track/song?

I assume the latter but wanted to make sure.

    Hi Terri, mixes are separate.

    Here’s more info https://musiclibraryreport.com/forums/topic/15-30-and-60-second-edits/.

Traditionally separate pieces of music, but there is at least one new library that has a 60,30, bumper and sting all within one 2:00-ish minute track.

Thank you for the link, Art. Very useful.
Extra work but sounds like it’s totally worth it!

    – what’s the titling protocol for these. Say I write a tune called “Sneaky Sister”… and I make various edits. Should I be titling them like:
    Sneaky Sister 15 second edit
    Sneaky Sister 30 second edit
    etc?
