Hi Everyone, I’m new to the forum and new to to music libraries in general. Thank you in advance for any insight.
    My question is this:
Once the term of an agreement has ended with a particular library (non-exclusive or exclusive) and an aritst/songwriter is no longer with that specific library, but a song of their’s was placed by that library in a film and is now in the film “in perpetuity”…Would this prevent the songwriter from signing a non-exclusive or exclusive agreement with a different library with that same song?

Coming from a non-exclusive library to another non-exclusive library, probably not. If coming from on exclusive library (or non-exclusive) to an exclusive, then it would depend on the terms in the contracts of the exclusive libraries.
