Can I Re-record a song signed exclusive with a new arrangement?

Hello guys. Can someone clarify me this doubt?
Can I re-record a song with a new arrangement, that was already signed with an exclusive library?
When I sing an exclusive agreement for a song, Do i give up just the master recording or the copyright of the song also?

I wouldn’t go down that path unless it’s explicitly laid out, in the exclusive contract, that you can.
