I’m asking because a library suggested that this was a good way to get used in reality cable . I was reluctant at first but I got a few placements and they have been pretty lucrative. I was able to claim writers royalty and set up a Publishing company to get payouts there as well. I’m currently looking to make a push to get mt music out there and I’m thinking I would like more deals like this.
Am I missing any downside?

The question these days is really, who gives up front money for deals.
There are a very few select libraries that give sync/License fees these days IMO.
