I need to upgrade from an older iMac and am considering a Mac Mini with separate monitor to run Logic X. I wondered if anyone was working this way and with what model/year Mini. Is there a minimum processor necessary to run Logic and East West Hollywood Strings?
I bought a used-2012- Mac Mini on EBay. The guy customized it with a hybrid internal 2T drive with a SSD 128gig for system. 16gig memory but only a double core. A quad would be much better. Hooked up HDMI to 40’ monitor. I use Digital Performer but it shouldn’t be that much different for Logic.
