Does it matter where a library is based? That is, would it be best to submit to local libraries, to avoid the long admin period and problems associated with overseas royalties collection, or can this issue just be ignored? Thanks.
Personally,i don’t think it’s even an issue.
International royalties can be a nice stream of revenue sometimes.
Collecting international royalties can take up to 2 years but that’s not a reason to exclude a potential good source of income.
Also, many libraries are supplying music to foreign markets so,even if you get signed to a local library, your music could end up to a show in the other side of the world.
