All my stuff so far has gone to exclusive pubs – but was considering some of these non-exclusive 2 year / 3 year deals.

What typically happens after those time periods elapse? Do they continue to exploit on your behalf unless you terminate? Or do they drop off the catalogue?
Also.. will an Exclusive publisher be able to accept a work after it has been pulled from a non-exclusive publisher after the 2 or 3 yr deal end? [and if this is down to the exclusive publisher to decide.. what would be the typical scenario?]

Usually you need to let the publisher know that you want to terminate the contract before the end of the term. As for going non-exclusive to exclusive, they most likely won’t do that. Exclusive libraries want tracks that have never been published.
