Hi Guys – I saw an ad listed in Craigslist for music for film and tv – I responded to it and it is from a company called “labhits”. They only offer exclusive agreement – I requested a sample of their agreement – I see no reversion clause and no upfront. My thought is maybe I will give them 10 songs that I am not super attached to (I have a very large catalog). But, I have not commited to anything yet and am not sure if maybe I shouldn’t even do that. Anyone ever heard of them? Also, is there a way to attach a file here – I can include the contract if anyone wants to look at it. thanx!

I do not think it is a good idea to post a copy of a contract online without permission. Contracts are considered confidential and are the intellectual property of the company that creates them. Plus, doing such a thing makes you look unprofessional.

Perhaps an attorney would be the correct person to talk to.
