Just got this from Melissa at Tunesat so I thought I would post this. I’ve been a fan (and customer) of Tunesat for years, even before they were an advertiser.

For the first time ever, GEMA, Germany’s performance royalty society, paid additional performance royalties to Munich based publisher Intervox Production Music Publishing GmbH based on their submission of TuneSat broadcast detection data. Intervox’s windfall is a 1,000% (one thousand per cent) return compared to their TuneSat subscription cost. http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130402005995/en

I can confirm that Intervox is dealing with Gema on this topic since a while and it looks like that their composers will get backpayments from 2010 and 2011 but it`s not 100% safe yet đŸ™‚

Thats great that GEMA honored Tunesat’s detections and will pay out.  ASCAP needs to catch up. I feel like I made a mistake signing up with ASCAP!
