Hi there, I’m just about to join BMI (used to make my money through royalty free sites since now) and one thing is holding me back right now :
“Within ten (10) days after the execution of this agreement you will furnish to us a completed work registration form
available in blank from us with respect to each Work heretofore composed by you which has been published in printed copies or
recorded commercially or synchronized commercially with film or tape or which is being currently performed or which you consider
as likely to be performed”Do I really need to register songs in ten days after I signed the contract ? I thought I sign up for BMI, get my contracts with PRO-libraries done and then I would register some songs.
