Now when my wife and I watch Television:

During any of the myriad Scripps home diy/real estate shows I think…I would be so pi**ed if I heard a song of mine during this show. No $$$

During any commercials where the music is a cover song of a high earning roylaty I think….corporate didn’t want to allocate budget $$$ to the composer/artist.

During any viewing time where the music catches my ear…was that live or vst?

Just meant humorously. I would be totally grateful to channel surf and hear one of my productions regardless of the usage.

Ha exactly! I think the same thing when I watch something like ‘Love it Or List It’ on HGTV where they practically use the same EXACT line up of cues for EVERY episode.

Tell me about it. ASCAP cue sheets show I’m in 20 different episodes of “Love it or List it”. Twenty two placements showed up in today’s international statement though, so at least there is that…

Micheal – thanks for sharing that! I’m an ASCAP member too so it gives me hope 🙂
