    Hi there

I read different terms for “Underscore, Music Bed, No Melody” in differen libraries.
Since english is not my native language I wanted to know what would be the most understandable one.
Should in general edits (60sec;stinger and so on) be mentioned in titles?
I guess it depends on the librarie…

    Thank you

Some time ago,I was told by a library not to mention an edit unless it’s part of the title.

Everybody does it now so I think they gave up trying to stop it.

Particularly for RF, if you follow Art’s suggestion and register all versions with your PRO, don’t see any way around not mentioning the edit in the title.

It depends on the library, in my experience, but the more specific the better. Remember it’s the first contact a potential client has with your music. Make it succinct but informative. It’s a challenge.
