Do I have to pay by the month or are some of the libraries accepting a yearly fee ?

I would not pay a “fee” to be accepted by a library.

“Honestly.” I would ONLY entertain a subscription, or monthly service “IF” they are getting high figure placements; and have a SPECTACULAR track record for knocking these down.. Unfortunately, music and MANY other industries have become “VERY predatory,” and are HEAVILY relying on the desperation and naivety of up and comings to “fund their lifestyles..” The “REAL players” are not providing these types of services; nor are the majority of them sitting on panels as paid guest speakers. The “real movers and shakers stay VERY low profile”; and you’re not going to be able to get to them without a proven track record, and getting on their radars..

I will say this though. I know for a FACT that great music will be accepted through properly introducing yourselves, being cordial & respectful; and doing a LOT of research as to their particulars/how to’s on submitting IP’s for consideration..

ALSO, someone that is doing subscriptions, and prepared services “usually” has no more of a chance to submit materials than You/I. There are submissions access RIGHT on the library/company websites. Do a LOT of research, and “be patient” because THIS is a slow business; and zero-to-100 in one second is not going to happen..

I have signed tracks with a lot of companies and I’ve never paid a monthly or yearly fee to any of them. Is that a thing?
