I understand that if you go with one distributor, and then leave, or just stop paying etc. Your music will be pulled from sites like Spotify and the stores. Does this mean if you switch to another that you would lose your “artist page” on those sites and have to start again? Are there any distributors that offer a “one time” and its there forever kinda deal? What if you pass away, will your legacy be gone with the first missed annual payment?

I have been using CATAPULT for many years. Only paid once and they send out royalties every month with no minimum.

I believe Distrokid has something called a Legacy option. They charge you a one time extra fee for keeping your music online forever.

I believe CD Baby has a one-time fee per release and your music remains on streaming platforms forever.
