    Hi there,

I’m developing with a friend of mine, a website that imports a CSV from Tunesat, and automatically calculates what you earn for your performance royalties. And sort it out automatically , per year / per period / per track / per channel / per country / per show / per publisher / per composers

Basically, if your CSV is well tagged , it will be an AWESOME tool for composers and Publishers to predict your next royalty statement.

Next goal after that would be to import a statement from a PRO and automatically compare what the statement says and what the CSV from Tunesat says. But this will be another step.

The system currently ( while in a pre-alpha phase ) works great but ONLY for most of France Channels.
Why ? Because I’m based in France and I know exactly what production music pays for most french TV Channels. ( prices per minute)

What I need from you guys, is the rules of the following TV Channels. It’s different in every country and depends of the PROs of each country, so that’s a huge task, but I’m sure we can find them.

I need to know the prices per minute for production music, for the following TV Channels :
Also , I need to know the exact formula of calculations if you have it. ( like , is prime time X 4 the standard price , is morning X1.5 ? etc .. )

List of TV CHannels : it’s basically the channels that Tunesat monitors.

While an interesting idea you might run afoul of Tunesat’s legal department. That exported csv data might be considered proprietary information. Have you checked with legal and Tunesat? BTW I am not a lawyer!

You may be right but what’s different than importing your CSV and do the sort yourself in Excel?

I won’t make any money out of it and
I’ll only send link to the website privately to composers who want it ( if necessary )

Tunesat website has not progressed since its beginning, so we users are forced to do things ourself 🙂

Nothing and that’s what I do. I reconcile my Tunesat data and BMI data every quarter.

Beside the point. I’d hate to see you put a lot of work into and have it blow up on you.
