Hiya!
Being new to sync I am wondering what is the best way to approach creating albums that I could pitch to boutique libraries. Do you guys create an album, focus on one theme and then contact a chosen library (or a lot of libraries)? Or do you pick a specific library you want to start working with, you reach out to them, ask what they need and then work on an album?
For years I tried to ‘make it’ as a performing artist so I do have a good workflow of creating music on a consistent basis but I feel that I am a bit like a headless chicken – I work on a lot of music but don’t pitch anything because I am not focused on creating themed albums as such.
Not sure if it’s worth contacting some libraries I have contacts for with such a varied catalogue?
