I agree that it would be nice if BI went up rather than staying the same. Why would someone like the FMN guy campaign for the change if the BI wasn’t going to go up? I don’t quite get his motivation otherwise…

Art: I have direct deposit also but mine shows up on the day of distribution.

I think it varies b/c it probably takes awhile for 1000s of payments to get processed.

I don’t know about BMI but with ASCAP (dist date is also tomorrow 6/22) if you do direct deposit it usually shows up in your bank account anywhere from a few hours to a day or two before the distribution date.

I’ve never signed a contract like that simply because it’s too one-sided.

From what I heard, they are dropping the BV down to the BI rate. Can’t say if it’s true or not, just what I heard.

That’s the most likely scenario I would guess.
