DavidM…I really like it especially around the 47 sec mark very nice… ….but…. then it fizzles out….I would be inclined to start the track at 47 sec…then go back and use the beginning and end as another track ….I find I do the same thing so I have to catch myself and stop it…lol …..it has to keep building and building…which I am still trying to master…your track sounds like more than one song to me ……here’s a nugget I got from a ninja warrior in the biz…sharing time… that I live by and constantly have to monitor constantly when I’m writing I hope it helps …and remember this is just my opinion…the mix is very good also.
• PROLOGUE – So always come out of the gates with exposing clearly where the track is going to end up. Imagine a library album for action music that all starts with brooding drones, well this will just sound like a brooding drone library and the editor will move on until she or he can here some action music.
• INTRO – We love doing these why? Because they’re EASY. Don’t indulge these, your editor isn’t here for that. Keep it short!
• SUBJECT 1 – Imagine introducing a character a motif or theme and build it to…
• SUBJECT 2 – Break down the first subject and develop the theme.
• SUBJECT 3 – Return to subject 1 but in a fuller more developed sense or modulated even.
• EPILOGUE – After the final cadence of the piece offer an echo of your main theme or motif.cyberk91ParticipantArt…understood…I’ll check it out…like I said it is only what I think …seems like none of these are perfect… Art and Music 123 thanks much for the info
cyberk91ParticipantAlan I myself may going through this same thing in January…To be honest I think Tunesat is a lot better software it is more in depth on how many times they used my track (which was 54 times)…and when….. and there is an audio file so you can check out your track used in the ad and you can download it …to me that is way better proof then some ad code ……..I can’t even find it on Numerator….I can get close but the actual track is not on numerator just the network and show it was aired on..Tunesat just doesn’t have an ad code that I’m aware of and as far as I know BMI wants that Ad Code…
cyberk91ParticipantStaying away from Waves…their plugins I find to noisy….come on UAD
cyberk91ParticipantOzone 8 sits on my master buss….I find it to be a great mastering tool….I don’t use every module in it …but it does help with the final mix IMO….my experience has been to always update if you can afford to the AI has probably been improved as well as the performance…now if they could only give you alternate final mixes to choose from… that would get you in the ball park then you can always override the AI to make tweaks…some think of this as making us lazy producers I think of it as being more productive … Ozone 8 was a bit of a CPU and memory hog so the machine has to have some horsepower to run it…….it’s the same in any job as the tools improve so must the craftsman….hello Black Friday

…We all want to make money with our music, but if our only goal is making money — and we have no love for what we do — what’s the point?
Wise words….for this business….I’ve had to have multiple paths of income..unless I wanted to lose a lot of body fat…

cyberk91ParticipantI don’t hear it at all not even close…..but what I do hear sounds like a rip off of a sample from Spirit In The Sky by Norman Greenbaum in the Joyful Noise track at the beginning ………lol
cyberk91ParticipantI Like to see what the library needs and try my hand at what they need…I do enjoy producing different genres… I also found talking to my younger friends to see what they are listening to….that’s when I discovered Lo-Fi and electric swing..
cyberk91ParticipantI’ve had a 23 sec alt used on Dazone fight MSG network..and they just cut it up to what they needed..to introduce the fighters one was 10 sec another was 18 sec so I may be wrong but I don’t sweat the times…I also do all my cutting in the DAW…
