Awesome, and Go Phillies….
10 Cues… ? I know of a 10 cues per submission library that has done well for me and then boom nothing as far accepting new cues. I do chalk it up to maybe they have too much of a my style from me so I start creating something a bit different for the next submission opening.
There is also that part me that thinks, maybe there is enough Production music in the world anyway…I was only familiar with #4 because of the TV commercial and the Adele tune of course… and I’m almost sorry I listened to the others…
The best new pop material I’ve heard in a bit is the
Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, and Silk Sonic album.
Beyond that it’s all Jazz and instrumental for me.
Anything by Julian Lage or Bill Frisell.
Jess Cook – Libre, It’s like Lo-Fi Flamenco/Gypsy/Latin music
Oz Noy – Riverside – Jazz standards with an edge…I took myself to court and won…. and lost….

Just a few for me…. and it has resulted in enormous averageness…. but I enjoy it very much…
I have no advice but I have a few tunes on Spotify that were placed there (not by me) and I found them by accident and saw the stream totals were higher than one would expect… a week later I looked and the the numbers were 12000 streams higher and I said, there ain’t no way people are streaming theses 4 songs that are less than 2 minutes long that many times… very fishy… I have actual songs that I put up and I’m sure I’m the only one who listens to them… Ha…
Funny just started to record some tracks I would call Rock Grooved Ambient music… Is that a thing ? Was going to put it up through Tunecore and see what happens after a year and if nothing happens then toss them into AS and see how that plays out… also starting to write actual songs to pitch as well… it’s all fun stuff…
At this point I feel the whole venture is a serious hobby and will never turn into a full time or a lucrative gig… I’m okay with that as I am 56 and it allows me to earn the same money that I would earn if I played in a bar band once or twice a month. I do still perform a few times a year and still write and record actual songs and put them out there… where they die slowly but it’s what I do… and I love doing it. I am having my best year mainly from one nice fee for a Public Domain Christmas track (3500 total this year so far) but I am well aware that could be my 15 minutes of fame and it could be all smaller numbers from here… I have nice gear, I have some level of talent and it keeps my brain active anything else is a plus in my eyes.
More Importantly. can I submit tracks for the project… Ha
