By the way I left the comment by Mike Lee. It is my alias account.I have been using it for a few years. It allows me to speak freely and honestly without someone attacking my business SoundCloud,or other social media accounts. I do want to add that we all need to behave as far as no threatening or foul language.

I replied to the Soundstripe video link and conversation. I am not sure how it ended up here.
Sorry Art I mean no disrespect but I am a bit frustrated. I hear a lot of talk about these terrible new models. But no real action.I just think their are so many options rather than sit by and watch. For starters, in my mind, every one of these sites that post a video on Youtube should be met with a comment from every person on this site. That shifts the power from them to us immediately. They will have no option but to remove them if they have a couple hundred negative comments.Their is only one of them but so many of us. It is perfectly legal, Takes almost no effort by any one person. And discourages others from following in their footsteps.

Why was I the first one to give this video a thumbs down? I know it is not a monumental statement, but it is something!! Come on guys their should be 1000 thumbs down and a 1000 negative comments. It is the very least we can do.

I keep on getting more and more of these each month. Different artists and labels. Some of the artists listed are getting 4 to 10 million views for the song title listed. Songs are nothing like what I write. A lot of dance and RnB. I did a NOI lookup on SXworks. One was for Sia ,The Greatest. The official notices on line do not list a copyright owner. The ones I receive do.They list my name. I have been reading articles that say Spotify has filed millions of these notices claiming they do not know the copyright owner. So they get out of paying. Seems like they just pick a composer who has the same song title and send them a notice. Then they do not have to pay the actual artist. All the notices I receive are the same titles as my copyright titles. When I try calling Spotify they direct me to a website that does not exist. When I leave messages and emails they are never returned.
I have hundreds of copyrights since I have been in the business for 25 years. This is very annoying.

I received the notices also. I do not have any music on Spotify. I do have on SoundCloud. I know of about 30 sites who have 250 to 500 of my tracks on them without my consent. Most in the Middle East and Russia. I have tested uploading a file to SoundCoud in the evening and doing a search the next morning.. Within 10 hours the track is on a dozen sites for free download. I uploaded a sine wave with the title not for sale or download. Apparently it is all automated.
