I’m really interested in this topic. Is there a place on this website where rates are discussed? I’d really like to get a handle on what people are charging for their work. I certainly don’t want to be the guy who is charging far too little.

So, what’s the point of purchasing samples or loops if they can’t be legally used and monetized as part of our original compositions?

I always register mine with BMI. I have signed some to an exclusive library and I’ve just had to notify BMI to make the change to the publishing component.
