2013, just when i started my production music journey. I know, it’s not that old. But, considering it’s dubstep/EDM stuff, i’m glad these tracks still generate new placements.

Very impressive and inspiring to hear 40+ years music is still getting new placements. Kudos to all of you!

Congrats Brian, sounds like a big deal!

Maybe a radio monitoring service (WARM, Medium, ACRCloud etc) will be handy too, just in case your PRO misses some payments? I think some of them have a free plan, although i don’t know how good they are.

Btw, i was wondering if anyone has experience with radio monitoring services? I know about tv monitor (Tunesat, Soundmouse etc) but realized i don’t know much about radio monitoring and if such services are helpful to artists.
Sorry if i’m hijacking this thread Art, you can delete my post if you think so (maybe there’s already a topic about that subject on MLR?).

Could be a correction on your last BMI statement. I had 2 of these in the past.

Not as great as the previous 2-3 statements but still very decent. International royalties saved the day, highest payment ever by far. They surpassed US royalties for the first time.

@White_Stripes: yes, i’ve seen some SNY royalties on the last 2 BMI statements. Equal good to SportsNet LA ones 🙂 Mind you, some of the payments where delayed by 2 or 3 quarters. Hope you do good with these 2 commercials!

Haven’t checked it on mobile but the desktop edition feels like i’m sitting in the front row of a movie theater! Everything looks very wide and big. Lot more scrolling involved too now. Is there a way we can modify the page to look a bit narrower?

Glad to hear several issues were fixed now though!

Congrats Danny! Not sure about themes but BG placements on BTN can be in the low 3-digits sometimes. Some others are much lower but, yeah, BMI at least pays for these BTN placements. I hope your theme will be in some primetime show!

I don’t mind not having date stamps on the forums, all info there makes a good read and is helpful regardless if it’s old or new.
The libraries area though is a different story: many of the comments about a library’s ownership, sub-publishers, deal points, overall activity etc could be confusing if we don’t have date stamps.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just a habit, but i always check the date stamps on a library’s comments.

Yeah, no date stamps for me either. I agree about the library comments, it was very useful to have date stamps there.

A little lower than the previous 2 statements but still good. International royalties were the best so far, covering almost 40% of the payment.

Apple iDrive for me too. I paid $19 for 2TB the first year, upgraded to 5TB for $60 the second year and now they offered me a 50% discount to keep the same plan for a third year. The best VFM choice imo.

Enjoying and also get my creative juices flowing 🙂

Yeah, unless they pay you $1K per second of music you submit to them, run for the hills!

I had a small payment ($2.18) from one Univision show called “MIRA QUIEN BAILA” on my last BMI statement. My track aired for just 0:04 and had 66 hits. I’ve seen more Tunesat hits from this network recently.
