    Wow thats a bad situation… I hope it gets rectified. Must have been a data entry error… And its caused so much trouble.

    Hi Boinkeee2000… thanks for sharing your experience… I guess tunesat tracking is a good addition to the usual process of registration… Am glad you found the error and they’re trying to rectify it.

    The concerned library wrote back to me explaining that the cues are registered with BMI upon selection by the production companies.

    And, as has been espoused by all, I’ll keep writing! 🙂

    Thank you Chris! That is good advice and does make me feel better. I will do the TuneSat thing and also concentrate on finding another library for further exclusive tracks… at least until we’re on track with registrations.

    If only they’d just clarify…

    Why remain non responsive to this query? It only adds to the feeling of anxiousness. 🙂

    As a newbie,..Just about 1 year in this business, MLR has been an invaluable resource for me.

    Acting upon the experiences and recommendations of industry vets I have been able to carve out a nice side income for myself in this short time.

    If I had to approach this all by myself, the learning curve would have been much steeper. I’m standing on the shoulders of giants and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

    Forgive me if this question has been answered earlier…

    How do Non US composers get paid by BMI? Do they mail you a cheque? Or is it via wire transfer? Or some other means?

    Been doing this for a year and only on RF sites… Have sold a diverse variety of styles from Heavy Metal to Sweet Ukulele to EDM to Orchestral to Ethnic World Music, etc.

    For me, sticking to just one style will get boring real fast… Though, I have been advised to stick to one genre for approaching exclusive libraries.

    I am a newbie to the scene… Started making tracks and uploading to RF sites in May 2018… Finished June 2019 with about 90 tracks…

    Made around $2000 till 30th June 2019…

    Haven’t yet established relationships with backend generating libraries… Hoping to do that starting this 2nd year of my music library foray!

    I am grateful for MLR… So much wisdom and perspective… Invaluable to a noob like me.
