You are certainly true. But even with that self-admistration, TEOSTO still collects performance royalties. Which would be problematic in this case.

They are actually rolling out a new self-adminstration system soon; in that new system you can also choose to self-administrate performance royalties. However, like I said earlier, TEOSTO has a bad reputation in Finnish game industry and even after that reform, I could lose some gigs because of TEOSTO. That’s why I am looking for other PROs and alternatives.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll take look at ASCAP.

    Thanks Art,

I think it’s Audiosparx. Just learnt I’ve earnt fractions of pennies, found it under RadioSparx Royalties Distributions. Also found the track on Spotify.

Hijacking the thread for my question. I also currently started uploading to Audiosparx.

Is there a way to change the order of edits inside the grouped track “folder”? I’d like to have the main version of the song come up first.

Some of tracks have an alternative edit first in the list.

I’ve been providing bed versions of my 15-30-60s edits in RF market and they sell regularly. So at least in RF it’s been worth the effort.

    Hey guys,

thank you for your replies! This website is really useful for gathering information and getting new ideas. I just bought 3 month membership!

This question might be slightly off topic, but what the hell…

Let’s say I have 10 tracks. So, when sending tracks to exclusive libraries and trying to get in, should I

    1) send these 10 same songs to many libraries at the same time and see what they respond? And what happens, if the 2 different libraries want to have the same track; I can choose, right?

    2) Or should send the songs separately to one library only and if they don’t want them, then try them with next library?

Waiting reply for a song for 4-6 weeks and then getting declined would be frustrating, if another library would take it.

(And sorry for the typos on that previous message. I wasn’t logged in while typing that and can’t edit it anymore.)
