Anyone out there collecting mechanicals. I know MCPS do that in the UK, but you have to pay to be a member. Also, a lot of libraries seem to collect ALL of the mechanicals. I believe S in Germany give you some of the mechanicals.
From what I read, mechanicals can pay the same amount as Performance PRO royalties for TV syncs in the UK. So if the library collects all the mechanicals as well as the publishers part of Pro royalties, then the composer is only getting about 25% of the total pot.
