Are you using BMI's Aetna dental plan?

Anyone have any experience using BMI’s “Aetna Dental Access” benefit package?

The example discounts look good – 20% to 50%. Are you finding that dentists, who are accepting this plan, are giving you these types of discounts?

Hey Paolo…I’ve had Aetna Dental before, but not through BMI. It was decent plan.

I don’t know about BMI’s plan, but most don’t cover major work, like crowns, during the first year. Double check if you need something soon.

Thanks Michael – I did forget about the waiting period. Good news is I don’t need any dental work – my smile’s in good shape 🙂 Just one of those “I’ll get to it” loose ends that’s getting wrapped-up now.

I’ve had Aetna Dental before

Michael – was that for dental insurance (premiums with a max payout per year) or with a discount card (dentists discounting their service)?

If it was the discount card, did you find it was hassle-free once you found a participating dentist (in terms of the dentist keeping the discounts) etc. Any problems or things you would have done differently.

I’ve always paid out of pocket so this is all new to me.
