Dear all,
I am a composer but I am not so confortable with the mastering side.
What are the best online solutions for mastering your tracks ? Do you have a correct software alternatives ? My goal is to be able to supply a correct master for library placement at any time. I would like to avoid to go in music studio.
Thank you

It IS part of this business, so I would suggest learning this skill.

I am curious but what kind of hardware/software do you use for the mastering ?January 19, 2016 at 5:12 am #23782MichaelLParticipantUsing online sites like LANDR has a REALLY good chance of ruining your track.

DO NOT be afraid of mastering. If you’ve got the know how and ears to mix your tracks you can master. There’s no magic to it.
Get yourself some good plugins from Izotope, or Flux (They’ve got a subscrition now).
Watch as many tutorials as you can.
January 19, 2016 at 5:14 am #23783vladGuestHi Scad, a real music studio will give nice results I would think….assuming your mixes are great.
My setup does not include hardware, and has changed over time but this is what I typically use now (track/music dependent, of course):
Fab Filter ProQ2
112dB Compressor (I think it is called ‘blue’)
Ozone 5 for stereo enhancement, saturation, limiting
All of that said, I believe I can get results with stock plugins that are pretty close to what I am doing with all of that junk above!!
Your ears are the most important tool that you own.

January 19, 2016 at 8:13 am #23787scadParticipantThank you Vlad for sharing your software plugin. It is really helpful.
Thank you Art Munson. I did not find a subject on online solution. I will have a look on your link.
