I know there is no “true” answer to this question, but I am curious….
Do you submit your tracks to libraries:

    1. As soon as they are finished?
    2. Stockpile and submit weekly/monthly/quarterly?
    3. Pick a specific month(s) to submit?

I know the mantra “Submit it and forget it”, but I’m curios if you have a certain system/superstition? And if you submit once a year on September 1, and you manage to license every track you write, resulting in a 6 figure salary, I’m sure you won’t mind sharing with everyone! LOL 🙂

    Hey JD,

What works for me -I coordinate submissions around my copyright and PRO registrations.

I start with opening a new work registration in both the copyright office (online) and my PRO (I’m with BMI) and I add song titles to both as I complete my tracks. This is just because I rather not spend so much time doing it all at once.

Then when I’ve added around a dozen finished tracks, I may edit the track titles but then I pay the $55 to complete the copyright process and submit my new works registration to my PRO.

Then I’m ready to submit tracks to the highest bidder! 🙂
