Hi all,
It’s been a while I had been thinking of freeing my hands while working in my DAW of choice: Propellerhead’s Reason. No telepathic device being available yet, I reflected on how I could use my feet!
Christmas arrived… and at the bottom of the tree was something waiting for me: a MIDI foot controller that was released decades ago, a Behringer FCB1010.
It was quite a struggle to set up, even with the help of forums and videos on Internet. Once I got a good grip of the beast, I decided to engrave in stone my understanding of it and of how to configure it for use in Reason (it’s quite general, the same principles apply to other DAWs).
So I made this video to prevent the same struggle to other producers that would like to put their feet at contribution…
I hope my experience will help some of you to free your hands in the home studio!
