Exploration Group LLC Sound Recordings

Hi All,

Does anyone know anything about Exploration Group LLC Sound Recordings? An non-exclusive track of mine recently licensed by a client suddenly got a copyright claim on Youtube on his channel by Exploration Group . The song is credited to me but I never have had dealings with Exploration Group or entered the track in a content -id scheme.. I’ve contacted them but their reply was not very helpful. They said : Our client has asked us to claim the video because it contains a use of their Master Sound Recording..

Here’s their site https://exploration.io/. Looks like a rights management company and they should be more helpful. Have you told them that you are the copyright holder and their client is infringing on your copyright? Tell them you will seek legal action. Should get them moving. I have similar experiences in the past and have managed to get these types of things resolved.
