I had an exclusive deal with a Music Placement company for a year and now that year is up. I got one placement during that year on a “major” network show.
The Music Placement company wants me to keep sending them tracks but they don’t want to actually execute another deal. This sounds pretty shady to me considering the guy that I’m dealing with at this company is a composer himself.
Maybe I’m missing something. Why would this company want me to send them tracks but NOT want to do a deal similar to one that we’ve already done while proclaiming to shop my stuff in the exact same way as if we had a deal in place?
