I’m trying to get some ideas about sending links to my songs. I built a new music site using Wix and thought I would be able to send links to specific songs for people to check out.
    squishmusic.com

This is functionality that was missing from my Godaddy site. Wix cant do this either (despite saying the function was there)so I have to send a link to a page and let people know which song they should listen to.

Im wondering how other people do this ? I’m considering getting a separate Soundcloud page that can link to songs. Is there
    a better way?

For libraries that require links for auditioning, I upload tracks to Soundcloud, designate them as private so only people who have the specific link address I send them can listen to the tracks.

I use ReelCrafter for custom reels. It’s great.

Disco is becoming more and more the standard. www dot disco dot ac

I hate Soundcloud. If you don’t make your links private or pay for a big upgrade, the receiver of your link has to listen to ads. And if the links are private, they won’t play on iPhones. Pain in the a*s. And, of course, piracy from SC is rampant.

I strongly recommend switching to Disco.

I used to use SoundCloud, even go their premium service, but they still run ads even if you’re a premium member! Disco.ac is what I use now, allows you to create great curated playlists and tailor them specifically for the library. It’s a bit more money wisebut worth every penny.
