How Would You Chase Royalties for NPR Airings?

As I drive around I sometimes hear one of my tracks playing on the commercial breaks (various commercials, not specifically one) on NPR radio here in California. I guess maybe that makes it KPCC.

I haven’t been paid anything yet for it, but it *might* be because it’s early days still. Having said that, there is no cue sheet or ‘jingle notice’ showing up for it in my SESAC account, where the track is registered.

How would you go about chasing after the royalties for something like this? It’s radio only I think.

I’m thinking I could contact:
NPR
SESAC
My publisher for the track

This will also be relevant for other tracks, which have aired domestically in the past and which I still haven’t been paid for..

@Tbone. If I recall correctly NPR and PBS get a reduced rate. Some that I’ve had paid pennies.

Same pennies here. Probably not worth chasing.

Thanks for the info. In one way sad to hear it’s a reduced rate, but I’m also relieved to feel like I don’t need to chase this one down.
