Library/Publisher registered tracks BMI

I have some tracks in a library that they retitled and registered with BMI, I found them in the database and they are registered with a publisher name that is not the name of the library and they are the only tracks registered to that publisher name. Do libraries create different publisher names for each composer?

It’s not unusual for a library to have a different publishing company name.

AshWeller, if you only know what strange publishing company names are out there…I mean…its funny.

And I am talking about universal and some serious companies, its just a name. yes clearly, the publisher can be called whatever, I just found it strange that only my cues were registered under this one particular name…
