@Michael Nickolas. I’m happy with my HR824 Mk2’s but think I liked the older ones better. I have a sub-woofer but found I don’t need it. And yes, a +1 on the Real Traps.
I want to ask you – why the subwoofer?
Hi Michael…the best answer that I can give you is the stupid one. I added the subwoofer at the suggestion of the guy who was helping put my studio together. At this point, I’m not sure that I need it, except for those sounds that you literally feel in your gut, rather than hear.
Thanks for the replys Art and Michael. I may be building a new studio setup as our house in on the market (circumstances beyond our control) but I’ll be upgrading my gear either way. So I’ll be back with many more questions!
