Whats up people. I’ve been in the music licensing world for about 3 years now. I started off strictly using the non-exclusive model with several libraries. I’m just now starting to experiment with the exclusive model with only a select amount of libraries.
My question is, if I have tracks in an exclusive library, is it ok for me to still post those same exclusive tracks for preview online on sites such as Soundcloud? I’m asking b/c some potential libraries want you to send them a link to see what you’re capable of. While I would never sign over an exclusive track to more than one library, I just want to know if this is ok.
I can’t see that as being a problem.
