I’m not sure how many Reason users are here on MLR, but I do about 40-50% of my writing in Reason as a stand alone or Re-wire through Sonar.
Propellerhead recently announced that their new upgrade due out soon will support VST plugins.
I commonly write tracks entirely in Reason then export the MIDI file just to use a favorite VST instrument in Sonar on one part. Then I re-wire Reason into Sonar for the rest of the track. Crazy. I also do all my mastering in Sonar, only for my VSTs. I have often thought I could easily become a 100% Reason composer if only they supported VSTs.If it all works I may be parting ways with Cakewalk
