Hi – my first post here, so hope I’ve put this in the right section!

First, thanks for all the great info here – I’ve learnt quite a bit going through all the topics and questions. I’ve only just set out recording music for film, TV, etc so still have a fair way to go.

My question is are there any libraries who handle soundtracks which have been created for theatre? Over the last few years, I’ve produced several soundtracks for local theatre productions and one of these has been used by various production companies in the UK and several states across the US. Recently, it was used in a production in Australia and the Phillipines. The music is for the Arthur Miller play “The Crucible.”

This all came about by chance, as I had put the music online on BandCamp to showcase my work, and it went from there. Anyway, since then, I have revised the soundtrack with new mixes and underscores, etc to make it more production friendly and giving the directors a more flexable score to work with.

Also, should I sign up with a PRO (PRS for me in the UK) for this? I was also thinking about putting some videos on YouTube to promote my work and was wondering if I should use a company like AdRev before I do?

    Thanks in advance.
