It is not just about uploading music, but uploading the kind of music people want to buy. I had a hard time with that concept at first, really writing whatever I wanted. I then came to the realization that I need to write to the markets needs, not my own. Since then I have sold a few tracks on P5. I would say to temper your expectations on what you can get. I am still very new in production music, this is the first year of pushing myself into this. (started my changes in August last year). I am going to do it for a year and see how well I do and evaluate what changes I need to make going forward. The point being is that I am looking at this with a long game in mind. So give yourself time to grow and promote your material. Best of luck! Cheers!
Hey fantastic thread. There is one thing about this business and that is learning where to go, how to approach, and have the right material. I am learning more of this stuff as I peruse these threads. It is very much appreciated!
