Thanks for your reply Beatslinger.
I haven’t done anything with my “Startup/Library/Catalog” yet because as I said in my oroginal post, I’m just making first step enquiries at present.
I too am on both sides of music & production side, have been writing/ producing/ releasing tracks since 1993 and, amongst others, I’m currently writing for a couple of the top tier libraries that you mentioned.
Thanks for your insight about approaching one of the catalogues I’m currently writing for, it’s one of the things that I plan to do.
I believe that nearly 25 years of professional music industry experience and over 250 releases has earned me a place at the “dinner table” with much more than just an appetite, knife & fork.
skeebodeltaParticipantThanks Art.
Not sure how to go about it just yet, that’s one of the things I was hoping about getting some feedback on.
My initial idea was to get a much bigger sub publisher to distribute/ promote it for me.
I think that my next step of research will be to ask a few of the bigger sub pubs the best way to move forward.
skeebodeltaParticipantAnyone?
skeebodeltaParticipantHi Angopop.
Thanks for posting.
Just out of interest, what’s the russian site address that sells Soundcloud songs?
I’ve got loads up on Soundcloud, so would like to check if any of them are being sold via the site you mentioned.
skeebodeltaParticipantI’ve also heard that these catalogues ask the writer to sign a non disclosure agreement.
skeebodeltaParticipantThat’s £150 per track.
