  1. Hi Joachim
I’ve seen the FB posts, but they look a lot like automatic posts … I highly doubt the guy will answer, but I guess it’s worth trying. Let us know how it goes! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hi, I just tried to check this library for sales since months back and found out about all this mess. Actually I did get some money from them for a handfull of sales last year so this really surprised me. However, I just wanted to tell you their facebook account is still alive (https://www.facebook.com/beatorchard?fref=ts) I just sent them a private message. I am not encouraging anyone to spam their FB site but in one of their recent posts they say they love feedback and comments…

  3. Besides the amount of money that might not have been paid to composers it is still really important to make sure that your music is absolutely deleted from his servers and backup archives and that your business relationship with him has officially ended.
I have been in this situation before where a business partner in another country could not create a functional website or business model but he had our music catalog on his servers.
I had to threaten my contact to the company to get to the CEO to finally get a signed letter stating that our music was deleted from their servers and the defunct company was no longer allowed to use our music in any way and that all business agreements were terminated.
It seems like a good thing to get in this case too so that your music does not end up in other hidden distribution systems or in youtube contentID.
Besides monies lost it is really important to protect your music catalog.

      • Art,
I am pretty sure it’s the same guy. In his twitter account the Beat Orchard tweets are systematically retweeted. In some tweets he even tries to promote Beat Orchard. It really looks like he’s our guy.
