  1. I’ve just become a verified seller by putting my SoundCloud link in my profile (they ask for a link to your portfolio or samples of your work before you can be verified).

They also confirmed to me that there is no place to enter PRO information. A question for those of you active on this site…are you not including PRO info for your tracks? Or are you maybe including it in the description field or uploading it as a document?

    • I was verified also. They seem to want a link to either your Facebook , twitter or Google account? Regardless in an e-mail I sent them a link to my sound cloud so they could listen to my files. I don’t have a composer account per say on those others.

  2. Did hear back today….with a request for a better i.d. scan. I am also seeing links to media clips of the day, etc. from them . Big enough site apparently to not notice that I’ve already uploaded 15 songs to their site because they keep asking for links to the music, not a problem really. At least they are communicating. Do an internet search on them and info is readily available. No, not entirely comfortable with the fact that they want a picture i.d., but is what it is at this point.

  3. My e-mail to them because now I am concerned tath they are not answeing y e-mail:Hi. I’m sorry but I want to express some concerns . I applied as a seller about a week ago. Normally I would give a music library the benefit of the doubt because it is a very busy world we work in, but the concern is that you asked for a scan of my personal i.d. and are now not answering my e-mails. Could you please get back to me latest by Monday evening and let me know the status of my seller account, thanks!

Also slightly worriesome is they are not u.s. based……..will post if I have any success hearing from them.

  4. “If the user registers as an Artist/Author, the registration requires an identity document with a photograph.”

I know of no reasonable explanation for this requirement. It’s a potentially dangerous request.

  5. I registered yesterday and had a look around. In the FAQs it says ‘How do I become a contributor? It’s easy. Please create an account and apply for a seller.’ I don’t see how to apply to be a seller. For those with tracks online, did you apply to be a seller before uploading your music?

Also, I don’t see anywhere to put PRO info, is there a way of providing PRO details for your tracks?

    • If you scroll down you should see it. Otherwise try another browser? I like the uploading process on here, very nice and streamlined. I uploaded about a week ago, and I know in the library world a week is nothing but did e-mail them as my status as seller is still listed as “not active”. If it is as well run as the site seems to be think I’m going to enjoy working with them. And the 55% share is better then most.

      • Thanks Chuck. I tried two different browsers and I don’t see a field for PRO info. Do you see it when you are submitting a track and putting in the description and tags and so on? I do see a Document field where you can upload a document for model or property releases. Is this perhaps where we put our PRO information? I emailed them at the beginning of the week about this and about how to become an active seller, but haven’t received a reply yet.

  6. Does anyone know how long the review process usually takes? Ive uploaded about half my library so far(about 150 tracks) and its been a few days and theyre still in review

    • Oh yes Chuck, I’ve uploaded alts, edits, stingers. Not to worry, the site seems to be just fine, I havn’t encountered any issues at all, unlike a few of the other new libs that started up about the same time as these guys.

    • Hi fish80. I’ve been active with them for around 3 months. I’ve had seven sales so far. My pricing is about the same as the other libraries I’m in which is higher than a lot of the pricing that you will see on this particular site and some are higher than mine, which shows one doesn’t have to have a too low of a price to get sales. They pay out promptly, no issues there. The communication has been great, quick, very helpful and friendly. They promote themselves quite well, much better than some other libs I’m with. I like their 55% commission to the composer. They’re still quite new but it seems they have the right attitude and knowledge to have a fighting chance in the market, I feel more optimistic with them than some of the other new libs that have appeared this past while. At this time I have to say that’s it’s worth it to stick with them as they grow, it may turn out well in the future, it’s all to see of course !

        • Yes MichaelL , that puzzled me at first too and didn’t know what to make of it myself. Apparently, they encountered some fraud earlier on and it’s just a precautionary step they implemented along with withholding a very small percentage of each months sales which they then pay to the composer on the following 3rd pay out. A procedure they say will prevent the problem from occuring again. A very unconventional method to say the least which I don’t totally understand of course, but nothing out of the ordinary or negative has resulted out of it. It all has been very smooth without any issues at all.

  7. Have any of you come across this before ? What are your thoughts ? I recently got sucked into a few unfortunate situations including a spambot pretending to be a music library, my bad as I should have looked at their email address more carefully. So I’m a bit paranoid with certain things now. This library wants a copy of your drivers license or passport when signing up [ as a photo attachment ]. The site looks legit, the agreement quite straight forward. but this photo ID thing is a first for me. Any thoughts, safe or ?

    • I submitted this library to Art and I have been with them for 3 months now. It is a normal genuine micro stock library. Not much sales so far, but they are active in promoting their work (every 2 days or something a newsletter with promoting some stuff).

For a micro stock site it was for me the first time as well to be honest and I have not figured out exactly why they requested it beside making sure they are dealing with a genuine person.
Conclusion: safe site to submit music to 🙂

      • Thank you jaapvisser. sincerely appreciated ! Yes, I looked at the pricing and it seems all over the place, from what I’ve read one can set their own pricing.
